Our vision

Virdi enjoys painting the world in his own colors, marching to his own drummer and earning his name and repute among peers, associates and spectators all around.

“We artists usually have a problem. This world is never enough for us. We need a world of our own, and usually we make it for ourselves.”

For each art assignment, he summons all his ingenuity, wits and understanding before diving in as if it’s the last day of his life and he’s got to make a mark. Trusting his instincts has kept Virdi on the right path throughout his education, personal growth and career. He knows what he has to say before he speaks.

On Corel Painter

The Amarjit Virdi Design Studio uses Corel Painter to digitally color the comics they produce.

“It has really improved our output. We are able to color the pages very fast and the mediums available in the software are amazing.”

How long have you been using Painter?

“We have been using Corel Painter for a year now.”

What made you choose Painter?

“It was suggested to me by my dear friend Harman Gerwal, who works with Corel’s distributor Aditya Infotech and looks after sales in the north of India. Painter’s traditional feel and the many options for traditional media make Painter a natural choice. Thank you Harman!”

What is your favorite Painter feature?

The availability of so many traditional media is our favorite Painter feature.

How does Painter make your daily work easier?

In this fast moving world everybody wants work to be done overnight. When somebody needs an oil painting, we paint in it in Corel Painter and get it printed on canvas. We don't need to buy oil paints and canvas to work in oil colors. We can work in Painter and then get it printed on canvas.

What's coming up for your business - any new projects on the horizon?

We are working on a series of graphic novels on Sikh history. An exciting and important project! We are also planning some war and romance-based comics!
