Corel® Product Promotion
Terms and Conditions

  1. The Corel® Product; Promotion Eligibility.  This Promotion applies to purchases of CorelDRAW® Graphics Suite X5 full version boxed or electronic download product only (the "Corel® Product") bearing one of the following Corel® Product by-country product codes CDGSX5IEHBBUK, CDGSX5IEHBB, CDGSX5DEHBB, CDGSX5FRNLHBB, CDGSX5ITHBB, CDGSX5ESBPHBBEU, CDGSX5SEFIHBB, or CDGSX5CZPLHBB (the "Eligible Software") during the Promotion Period (defined below).  This Promotion is open to legal residents of the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland.  Employees (including non-employee workers), resellers, retailers and other businesses authorized to sell Corel software or services, representatives and agents of Corel Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Corel") and any Promotion administrator, prize partners and/or promotional partners, and their immediate families (spouse, parents, siblings, children, and those living in the same household) are ineligible to participate in this Promotion.  COREL E-STORE (ELECTRONIC DOWNLOAD) PURCHASES IN SWITZERLAND ARE SPECIFICALLY EXCLUDED FROM THIS PROMOTION; LEGAL RESIDENTS OF SWITZERLAND MAY QUALIFY FOR THIS PROMOTION ONLY IF THEY PURCHASE THE ELIGIBLE SOFTWARE THROUGH A COREL AUTHORIZED SWISS RESELLER.  Corel reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to alter, amend, or close this Promotion, at any time, without prior notice.  This Promotion is void where prohibited by law.
  2. The Promotion Period; Promotion Deadline.  The Corel® Product must be purchased from Corel or an authorised Corel reseller between February 15, 2011 and May 15, 2011 (the "Promotion Period").  The Promotion excludes purchases of the Corel® Product's premium suite versions, academic versions, trial versions, OEM versions, Not-For-Resale versions, small business edition versions, upgrade versions, and Non-European Union versions.  Promotion application claims must be received by Corel no later than midnight Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) May 31, 2011 (the "Promotion Deadline").  Corel's computer is the official time keeping device for receipt of all Promotion application claim forms.
  3. The Promotion; Promotion Application Claim Form.  Eligible Software purchases made during the Promotion Period (as set forth in Sections 1 and 2 above) for which a completed Promotion application claim form has been submitted along with the required Corel® Product proof of purchase by the Promotion Deadline date qualify for one (1) free Western Digital® Elements Desktop 2TB hard drive while supplies last (or if same is no longer available to Corel for whatever reason Corel may, in its sole discretion, substitute a substantially similar product) upon verification of the Promotion application claim by Corel (as set forth in Section 4 below).  Only one (1) Promotion application claim form per person (per email address/per physical address, as applicable) will be accepted for this Promotion.  The Promotion application claim form can be found at www.corel.com/eu/wd (for reseller boxed product purchases) and www.corel.com/eu/hddpromo (for E-Store download product purchases).  The Promotion application claim form and any Promotion webpage or Promotion web site are all subject to these Corel® Product Promotion Terms and Conditions.
  4. Promotion Confirmation.  Corel reserves the right to verify all Promotion application claims and disqualify any Promotion claimant for tampering with the Promotion application claim process, submitting a fraudulent Promotion application claim, or for submitting a Promotion application claim not in accordance with these Corel® Product Promotion Terms and Conditions.  Only valid Promotion application claims will be processed.  Provided Corel receives, on or before the Promotion Deadline date: (a) the completed Corel® Product Promotion application claim form; (b) the Corel® Product proof of purchase documentation for the Eligible Software (e.g., for boxed products: the original Corel® Product purchase receipt, barcode off the product packaging, and the Proof-of-Purchase (under the product lid flap) scanned and uploaded as attachments to the Promotion application claim form; for electronic download products: scan and upload the purchase receipt confirmation, enter the product verification codes on the Promotion application claim form as instructed on the Promotion web page), and (c) the Promotion claimant's acceptance of these Corel® Product Promotion Terms and Conditions, eligible Promotion claimants will receive a confirmation of receipt of their Promotion application claim form from Corel via reply e-mail.  As an alternate method of entry for the Promotion, claimants can download/print the Promotion application claim form from either Corel web site identified in Section 3 above, complete all required fields and either mail all to:  Sales Promotions c/o Taxback Group, IDA Business & Technology Park, Ring Road, Kilkenny, Ireland, Attention: Corel® Product Promotion,  or fax all to:  0044-0-207-785-6844.  Upon Corel's verification of the Promotion application claim and the Corel® Product proof of purchase documentation for the Eligible Software, eligible Promotion claimants will receive the Promotion item identified in Section 3 above; allow 6-8 weeks for delivery of that Promotion item.  Corel is not responsible for transmission errors, lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, illegible, misdirected (or, where not prohibited by law, postage-due) Promotion application claims.
  5. Invalid Promotion Claim Forms.  Promotion application claims shall be deemed invalid and Corel shall have no obligation to any Promotion claimant to provide or deliver any Promotion item identified in these Corel® Product Promotion Terms and Conditions if the:
    a)   Corel® Product was not purchased from Corel or an authorised reseller as set forth in these Corel® Product Promotion Terms and Condition within the Promotion Period;
    b)   Promotion application claim form submitted was incomplete and/or was not received by Corel on or before the Promotion Deadline date;
    c)   Corel® Product proof of purchase documentation for the Eligible Software was not received by Corel on or before the Promotion Deadline date; and/or
    e)   Correct Eligible Software by-country product code was not received by Corel on or before the Promotion Deadline date.
  6. Publicity.  Except where prohibited, participation in this Promotion constitutes Promotion claimant's consent for Corel's use of the Promotion claimant's name, likeness, city, state/province and country of residence for promotional purposes in any media without further consideration.  Information collected is subject to Corel's Privacy Policy located at http://www.corel.com/servlet/Satellite/se/en/Content/1152796558838.
  7. Taxes.  Promotion claimants are solely responsible for any and all taxes and fees associated with Promotion item whether or not they receive a tax form from Corel or its designated Promotion administrator.
