(the "Contest")
OFFICIAL RULES

BY PARTICIPATING IN THE CONTEST, ENTRANTS ACCEPT AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE FOLLOWING RULES:


1. ELIGIBILITY: THIS CONTEST IS OPEN TO RESIDENTS OF THE UNITED STATES AND CANADA (excluding the province of Quebec) ONLY. Employees, representative and agents of Corel Corporation, Shutterbug Magazine, Primedia Magazines, Inc., their subsidiaries and affiliates ("Corel") and their immediate families (and those living in the same household) are ineligible to participate. The Contest is subject to all federal, local, state and governmental laws, rules and regulations. Entrants must be over the age of majority in the jurisdiction in which they reside. The Contest is void in the province of Quebec and where prohibited by law, rule or regulation.

2. DURATION OF CONTEST: The Contest is open continuously from 8:00 a.m. EST on February 26,2006 to 8:00 p.m. EST on May 31, 2006. Corel's computer is the official time keeping device for the receipt of entries for this Contest.

3. HOW TO ENTER: Contestants must download a free trial version of each of the following Corel software products from the Corel website at www.corel.com or www.corel.com/masters and use such software to create paintings from original photos: Corel® Paint Shop Pro® X, Corel® Photo Album™ 6 and Corel® Painter™ Essentials 3. Contestants are automatically entered into the contest by submitting their original work of art created using the software products contained in Paint Shop Pro Photo Art Suite via the electronic email submission link located at www.corel.com/masters. All entrants must complete and attach the Image Submission agreement to their entry to be entered into the contest. Alternatively, entrants may submit their entries (including the Submission agreement) via regular mail to: Corel Photo Art Master Search, 7905 Fuller Road, Eden Prairie, Minnesota, 55344. All submissions must include the entrants first name, last name and have a valid email address so that we may contact you in the event you are a winner. A limit of 1 entry per person. All entries become the property of Corel and will not be returned.

4. ELIGIBLE ENTRIES: Corel, at its sole discretion, will determine eligibility of entries. Any duplicated or ineligible entries will be discarded. By entering a piece of artwork, you further warrant that your work of art is original, does not infringe on any copyright or any rights of third parties and that you agree to all of the rules-and-conditions which govern this contest. Corel may use your artwork in accordance with the provisions of the Image Submission Agreement that you submit.

5. PRIZE SELECTION: Three (3) prize winners will be selected from among all eligible entries received by a panel of judges, to be held on or about June 15, 2006 conducted by Corel or its designee. Winners will be chosen by the decision of the judges of the promotion, whose decisions will be final in respect of any matters relating to the promotion. Entries will be judged on artistic ability, composition and creativity. The winners chosen will be notified by e-mail, telephone or postal mail shortly after the Contest closes. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of the entrant of any online entry, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address used to enter will be deemed to be the entrant. The "authorized account holder" is the natural person assigned an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. In order for a Canadian resident to win, the selected entrant will be required to answer, unassisted, an arithmetical skill testing question and such skill testing question must first be determined by Corel to be correct prior to being declared a winner. In the event the question is answered incorrectly, the prize will be awarded to the next selected winner (subject to correctly answering the skill testing question if applicable) and additional winners will be selected until all prizes have been awarded. The prize winners may be required to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release, where lawful, within twentyone (21) days of notification. Non-compliance may result in forfeiture of prize. Return of any prize or prize notification as undeliverable will result in forfeiture of prize and selection of an alternate winner at the sole discretion of Corel.

6. PRIZE(S) AVAILABLE: All entries submitted to Corel shall be judged on the criteria set out above and prizes shall be awarded as follows:

1st Prize: Nikon D200 10.2 Megapixel dSLR digital camera kit with Nikkor 18-st 70mm autofocus lens and 2GB CompactFlash card ($1,995USD value)

2nd Prize: Canon Powershot S2 IS with 1GB memory card ($500USD value)

3rd Prize: $200 Amazon.com gift certificate

If the potential winner(s) is a minor, the prize will be awarded in the name of the minor's parent or legal guardian, who will be required to sign all necessary documents. Winners will be responsible for all applicable duties taxes on the prize.

7. PRIZE AWARDING: The prize cannot be transferred or substituted and must be accepted as awarded. Please allow 8-10 weeks for prize delivery. By accepting a prize, the winner consents to the use of his/her name, city of residence, and likeness in any matters related to this Contest, without further consideration, including in any related advertising or promotion (except where prohibited by law). By accepting the prize, the winner agrees that Corel, its subsidiaries, affiliates, related companies, and their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents are not responsible for any loss or damage to person or property due in whole or in part to the possession, acceptance or misuse of any prize or participation in the Contest, including without limitation, claims, costs, injuries and losses related to personal injuries, death, damage to or destruction of property and/or rights of publicity or privacy.

8. WINNERS LIST: The Contest winner will be posted on Corel's website.

9. DISQUALIFICATION: Proof of sending or submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Corel. Corel is not responsible for scrambled entries, or computer, system, or phone line hardware, software or program malfunctions, network interruptions or errors all whether human or electronic. In the event the Contest is compromised by virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes beyond the control of Corel, Corel reserves the right to terminate the Contest. Use of any automated system to submit entries is prohibited and will result in disqualification of all such entries as well as the entrant.

10. RELEASE: By entering this Contest, entrant agrees to release and hold harmless, Corel, each of its respective related companies, and each of its respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt or use of any prize.

11. TAX INFORMATION: All taxes on the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. The winner agrees to provide any required information necessary to satisfy taxing authorities and to allow Corel to prepare and submit any required documentation related thereto prior to the award of their prize.

12. DISCLAIMERS AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY:
(a) Corel is not responsible for, and hereby disclaims responsibility for: (i) late, lost, incomplete, or misdirected entries; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunctioning of any computer, cable, network, hardware or software; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions or telephone or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Contest; (v) electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the Contest or the processing of entries; or (vi) any injury or damage to persons or property, including but not limited to entrant's computer, hardware or software, which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant's participation in the Contest.

(b) Corel and each of its officers, directors, affiliates, related entities, partners, partnerships, principals, representatives, agents, licensees, sponsors, successors and assigns: (i) disclaim the making of any warranty, guaranty, or representation of any kind concerning the prizes or any individual prize, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, NON-INFRINGEMENT OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, and (ii) are not liable for injury, loss, or damage of any kind resulting from the acceptance or use of a prize or from participation in this Contest.

(c) Entrant agrees that: (i) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Contest but in no event attorneys' fees; and (ii) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives, all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so the above may not apply to you.

13. DISPUTES: Any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Contest, or any prizes awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the courts of Ontario. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Corel in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Province of Ontario, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the Province of Ontario or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the Province of Ontario.

14. GENERAL INFORMATION: This Contest is conducted in English. All materials submitted become the property of Corel and none will be returned. Corel reserves the right to change these rules or cancel the Contest at any time in its sole discretion.

15. ENTRANT'S PERSONAL INFORMATION: Information collected from entrants is subject to Corel's Privacy Policy located at www.corel.com/privacy.
