IMPORTANT NOTE:
Windows display settings must be set to 24-bit color or greater to use Corel Painter Essentials 3.

To switch to 24-bit color:
1. Click Start | Control Panel (or Start | Settings | Control Panel depending on how your Windows has been set up).
2. Double click on the Display icon.
3. Click on the Setting tab.
4. Under Color Quality to 24-bit, or True Color.
