Painting stroke by stroke, over my photographs, through the use of colors, textures, lights and transparencies, I recreate feelings, vibrant energies, not evident connections and invisible cords I can feel, but my camera can't reproduce".

Claudia Salguero is an award-wining professional photographer, fine artist and graphic designer.

For many years she worked on these three disciplines in an independent way but since 2003 when she discovered Painter, she has been combining all her passions in one, using this powerful software to transform her photos into images with a profound message. Her creations are being used by ad agencies, dance and theater companies and also exhibited as pieces of art in galleries.

Born and raised in Colombia, Latin America, where she worked as designer, photographer and multi-image producer she moved to Canada in 2001 and since then she has been working as a photographer and digital artist for high profiled clients.

Her images have been used by clients such as Via Rail Canada, The Supreme Court of Canada, Sony Music, Opera Lyra Ottawa, The Ottawa Chamber Music festival and other dance and theater companies in Canada, USA and Latin America.

Claudia is a Digital Artist empowered by Hewlett Packard Canada. She has been invited to talk about her Painter techniques and HP printing experience to a different trade show events and conferences like PMA, Print Show Canada 2006, Visual Art Conference Ryerson U and others in Ottawa, Montreal, Toronto and Colombia.
