The desktop publishing world has always benefitted
greatly from the enthusiasm of third-party developers that create
tools which automate repetitive tasks or enhance users creative
ability by providing preset artistic effects. All
of the functionality of Corel VENTURA 7 is accessible through
an extensive list of OLE
Automation commands (over 555 to date). The customizable user
interface, including custom menus and dialog boxes, allows seamless
integration of your add-on. The inclusion of the Corel SCRIPT™
environment in Corel VENTURA 7 provides developers with a programming
environment as well as the ability to include visual interactive
dynamic dialog box creation. Scripts can be compiled into DLLs
or EXEs for faster execution, ease of distribution and protection
of the source code created by add-on developers.
Custom hyphenation dictionaries can also
be created to supplement the dictionaries that are supplied with
Corel VENTURA 7. For example, you may want to make hyphenation
dictionaries for:
- Languages not supplied with Corel VENTURA
7
- Dialects or languages supplied with
Corel VENTURA 7
- Specialized words sets (scientific
or medical hyphenation dictionaries)
